Tour of J.T. Henry and Sons Farm
Time: April 12, 2023 at 2 PM
Location: J Henry & Sons Tasting Room at Henry Farms, 7794 Patton Road, Dane, WI 53529
Henry Farms is a fourth-generation seed corn producer that began re-propagating heirloom grains from the University of Wisconsin in 2008 to make bourbon. They use these grains to create their internationally acclaimed, award-winning bourbons.
The tour will involve nosing and tasting of their bourbons. We will learn about the laws of bourbon, what makes J Henry bourbon special and how their family business is growing. You may enjoy a Farmer’s Cocktail following your tasting. There is a short walk to the rick houses (buildings for aging spirits). Please wear comfortable shoes.
Annual Meeting and Luncheon

Prof. Claudio Gratton will speak on the WiBee App. Fresh baked roasted vegetable quiche with fresh fruit garnish (vegetarian) Turkey, bacon, gouda, croissant, lettuce & tomato with fresh fruit garnish & chips Grilled chicken salad, craisins, bleu cheese, walnuts, rasp vinaigrette (gluten free). Entrees include roll, beverage (coffee, tea, iced tea or milk), and cookies.

Summer Pontoon boat tour on Madison Lakes
Time: July 22, 2023 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Location: Trip begins at Denny Park Boat House, 1615 Sherman Avenue
Boats are owned by MSCR (Madison School Community Recreation). Each boat holds 15 people. We have reserved 3 boats. Please send in your reservation by July 3 so we know if we need to cancel a boat. Water and a snack will be provided.
